The Vagad Trail: 5-Day Udaipur & Banswara Hundred Islands Discovery

An offbeat journey combining the heritage of Udaipur with the undiscovered tropical green archipelagos, waterfalls, and tribal culture of Banswara in southern Rajasthan.

• Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur & Local Sightseeing

  Arrive in Udaipur, check in, and explore City Palace, Jagdish Temple, a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, and an evening walk at Gangaur Ghat.

  Overnight: Udaipur

• Day 2: Udaipur Local Exploration

  Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake (with optional boat ride to Nehru Garden), Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, and the rural arts complex at Shilpgram.

  Overnight: Udaipur

• Day 3: Udaipur to Banswara (Approx. 165 km / 4.5 hrs)

  Drive through the scenic Vagad countryside to Banswara. Check into your resort and explore Mahi River Viewpoints, Anand Sagar Lake, and visit a traditional Tribal Village.

  Overnight: Banswara

• Day 4: Excursion to Chacha Kota, Mahi Dam & Kakdiya Waterfall

  Full-day nature excursion visiting the island village of Chacha Kota, the vast Mahi Dam (City of a Hundred Islands), and the natural streams at Kakdi Hills / Kakdiya Waterfall.

  Overnight: Banswara

• Day 5: Departure from Banswara

  Check out after breakfast and transfer to Banswara Railway Station or Bus Stand for onward travel.
