The best period for this itinerary is generally October to March.
This is particularly important because Bikaner and Jaisalmer can become extremely hot during summer.
Pleasant daytime temperatures make sightseeing comfortable, while evenings begin getting cooler.
Excellent for exploring Rajasthan and experiencing the desert, but nights can become genuinely cold.
If you're staying at a desert camp, carry warm clothing.
